Bit of a worrying article this! I wonder how many couples split up in the run up to, and during a major televised football tournament. In a world of supposed equality surely there should a similar event for women?! Wonder what would happen if the shoe was on the other foot. Shoes that's it! - Women lurrrrv shoes, I guess the equivalent would be the European Footwear Championships.
A couple of e-mails have been flying round work today asking what everyone has planned for England's second game (Thursday evening 5pm k.o.), but no-one's able to commit themselves presumably because they haven't mentioned it to their other half. To quote a colleague who's in this boat; "How lucky are you having a lass who actually enjoys watching footy", - bless her, no wonder we're getting married!

What a carry on! - Anyone know how to teach a cat to use a Cat Flap?!? If they were big enough for a human to crawl through we would be able to teach the cats no bother, but that would obviously defeat the whole object of having one. The magnetic tag on the collar triggers the door lock to release but the he-cat keeps trying to open it with his paw keeping his head out of the way! As for the she-cat, she goes through it so slowly that the door shuts on her tail and she goes sCATty. What a carry on!

Handy and yes it's legal

Managed to wangle myself a new phone yesterday, - I say wangle 'cos it's actually meant for my Dad due to his being nicked, (long story not going to go into here). Anyway it's a Nokia 6600, but came supplied on the Orange network. For some reason all of the mobile phone operators except Vodafone lock their handsets down so they can't be used on other networks meaning my Voda sim wouldn't work in the phone. In the past I've always gone to a shop and paid £10 - £20 for some sales pleb to plug the phone into a machine and unlock it, but then I found these people through google. For £4.50 they provide the codes and instructions to do it yourself, you can use paypal and they seem like a decent company. Shouldn't have to pay anything at all really as there's no reason why the providers should be locking them down, but that's a can of worms in itself.
