"Ola" from Cuba

My first blog entry from 'abroad' :o)

Never got the chance to post after the wedding and before we set off on the honeymoon, - that week was more than a bit hectic!!
In short the wedding day was AMAZING, - it really couldn't have gone any better. Everything went to plan, the weather was spot on and a good time seemed to be had by all. I'll mention more about that when I've got photo's to include. In the meantime Here's a link to some pics Jen put online before we away.

Onto the honeymoon;
We're into our 2nd week now and having a cracking time. Hotel's spot on, one of the best in the country apparately!, -it's absolutely huuuuge! There are little golf buggies dotted around to ferry you round the complex as it takes about 15 mins to walk from one side to the other.Everyone's really friendly here and they can't do enough for you.Weather's been "off the hook" hot so far, and we've been making the most of it.
We've got the reminants of Tropical Storm 'Rita' today though, - hence the reason I'm sitting typing this!! The storm's heading towards the states before it becomes a hurricane so we should only get rain for a day (fingers crossed!). We're meant to be on a Catamaran trip today but they've re-scheduled it for tomorrow cos of the storm, - typical on the one day we've had to drag ourselves out of bed early!!
Food's not bad, - although as with every holiday I could murder a 'Big Mac' by the 2nd week!! There are five restaurants (italian, asian, seafood, vegetarian, and an iternational), plus the normal buffet one, and we've tried them all.Most important of all though, - the free beer is spot on. Tastes similar to Stella and seems to be about as strong! Jen's been through the whole cocktail menu now I think!
We've done the obligotary 'swimming with dolphins' trip which was class, so we're doing it again on Wednesday!Also done the 'speed boat through the jungle' trip. Each couple is basically given a boat and told to follow the leader, - it was a really good laugh.
Not many Geordies here (mainly 'cos you can't fly from Newcastle), but there's flippin' loads of Scousers! So far they haven't pinched owt though and you kind of get used to the shell suits!

Well I'm bored now and some of the keys on this keyboard are ropey so it's doing my head in!

CAN wait to come home.
