Some people need to go out every night of the weekend in order to enjoy themselves, - I don't.
A simple Friday night in the right company is enough.
If you don't understand then I guess you're 'some people'.

Why is English hard to learn

Hum Drum

It's just one of them days; Sitting at work keen to do anything as long as it's not work!
Looked at everything worth looking at on the web, sent loads of waffley e-mails that I had outstanding, I've even filled in my travel expenses for god's sake and that only happens twice a year.
Hmmm, what can I do now? - I know, I'll set the basis up for Jen's Blog, then another cup of tea, then another couple of games on the new Blast Billiards game. That should fill in half an hour. Roll on 5 o'clock!!

Bon Voyage Nicole

No this blog isn't anything to do with French car adverts, - Nicole is our
friend from Canada.
She recently stayed with us for a week before heading round Europe on a
Contiki tour.
We met Nicole whilst holidaying in the Dom Rep about 2 years ago and
although this only lasted about 5 days everyone got on brilliantly. Jen's
kept in touch with Nicole via msn since then, and they arranged her visit
earlier this year.
It was really good to see her again and sad to see her leave. However we
managed to cram quite a few things in during the time she was here,
Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, a day in Edinburgh, two days at Alton Towers, a days Shopping with Jen, and of course meeting our families and friends.

Enjoy the rest of your tour and keep in touch. I'll post some of the sober
photos on the site sometime this week.

FIREEEEEEE!!!!

This was sent to me with the heading of 'You know you want one', - some ppl just know me too well. Far too dodgy to even think about making but I'd get such a buzz from having a try!! Sorry if I'm on my own here but I'm 99% sure I was an arsonist in a fomer life so that's my excuse.

Nostalgia

Here's a site with all your favourite 80's cartooons. The days when cartooons were made properly and not knocked out 10 a penny for dedicated channels like Nickelodeon. In them days you had to make a point of watching between 4 and 5pm or you missed them - they weren't repeated every hour and there was no Sky+ to pause them etc. Everyone turned off at 5pm before John Craven came on!!
